on healing
in japan, a broken vessel is not discarded. its pieces are joined again with lacquer and gold, and the repair is never hidden — the cracks become the most precious part.

The process of healing is not about getting good enough for someone else to deem you worthy. It's about getting good enough for yourself. And to be good enough for yourself is when you find complete acceptance for what you've done, without assigning fault.
If you believe in agency, and self, and assign responsibility for irreversible decisions of the past, then your present assumes indefinite ownership of the past. And when what you deem as faults or mistakes is resurfaced in the present, your present self does not accept itself; a paradox in itself.
to be present is to have absolutely no regrets.
there is no other way.
In my moment of awakening, when I lost all sense of self, and saw the divine, unobstructed by thought and interpretation version of the universe, I was seeing, feeling, hearing, sensing… god. And that's when I understood it. Dancing. Why we dance. Why animals dance. And how they do so beautifully without being taught by word or language.
It's because they aren't thinking, they're just doing. In absolute presence. And when I understood this, and left all judgements and interpretations aside for the music that I was experiencing, I closed the time delay associated with human processing and translation into thought; I was able to just "flow" with the music. To truly hear it: its energy expressed as vibrations of differing wavelengths, and have my body translate it exactly as is.
